This session highlights the ways in which community-level activities – from strengthening health systems to locally-led adaptation, as well as examples of indigenous and community-led interventions – have created opportunities to improve the resilience of health systems. The session concludes with a set of recommendations for embedding community-led actions and principles, prioritizing programming principles to build climate-resilient health systems, as well as implications for governance, national policies, and planning/management strategies.
