Here we explore the interconnected relationship between water resilience, biodiversity, and economic stability. We emphasise that water is the linchpin of economic resilience, impacting various sectors such as agriculture, energy, and tourism. Additionally, we highlight the indispensable role of biodiversity and nature in safeguarding our planet's health and human well-being, underscoring the urgency of closing the global investment gap for their conservation. Furthermore, we elucidate the synergy between water and nature, showcasing how healthy ecosystems contribute to clean water resources. We conclude that protecting and restoring natural habitats is imperative for enhancing water resilience and mitigating environmental and economic challenges.
