From Silos to Synergy: A dialogue on universal access to risk and resilience insights and tools
Friday, December 8, 2023 |
9:00 - 10:00 |
Theme
Disaster Risk Management and Humanitarian Action
Details
This session seeks to challenge silos between disaster risk reduction, humanitarian & climate action, and finance for resilience. Connecting data collection and analytical products with end use and effective action is a critical component of this process. New tools will be presented, such as the hazardous event and disaster losses and damages tracking system (UNDRR). A strong call for action is needed to ensure these tools are universal and accessible to all. Our event includes a brief ignition session with speakers but will primarily focus on interactive discussions with both in-person and online participants.
Join us for an open dialogue on transparent risk communication! We value your input in addressing global resilience, empowering local communities, and promoting open data access.
