Marsh McLennan – in partnership with Arsht-Rock Resilience Center and the Race to Resilience – will launch a new report at COP28 assessing the barriers insurers face in pursuing adaptation efforts, as well as five actionable recommendations for how the sector could overcome those barriers. In addition, it will again highlight Pioneer Projects, this time more than doubling the first year’s count. To launch the report Marsh McLennan proposes a one-hour program at the Resilience Hub that would aim to reinforce the urgency behind the insurance sector’s adaptation efforts, highlight key findings from the report, and feature the types of projects being pursued by leading insurers.
